    It's a [bitcoin][/bitcoin] bbcode.

    It's used the following way:

    [bitcoin=amount]address[/bitcoin]

    This is translated into a BBCode button that uses a Bitcoin URI, or, for text rendering, a line of text telling the user to send bitcoins to the address.

    The address is fully validated server side, and if it is invalid, the bbcode isn't rendered (it appears as is).
