    This is a quick fix for Admins who have run into this issue-

    The issue is that Gmail and possibly other popular email clients do not recognize parentheses ( and ) as valid characters in a URL.

    This becomes a problem if users are being emailed links to threads (via subscribed threads or forums) and the thread title has a ( or ) in the name.

    The title will become broken in Gmail (and others) possibly stopping the link from working at all- but...
